The Splayd

The splayd is the combination of a fork, a spoon, and a knife. This utensil
is also referred to as the sporf. This creation was invented in the 1940's in
Sydney, Australia by a man with the name William McAuthur. The splayd
has the prongs of a fork, the outer prongs have sharp edges like that of a
knife, and the bowl of a spoon. The knife of this blade is not very soft, in fact
it should only be used for cutting through soft foods.
