Chef's Knife

The chef's knife is almost always used in food preparation. This knife is also

commonly called the French knife. The blade of this knife is around eight inches although some individual

models can be six to fourteen inches long. The chef's blade is normally used for mincing and chopping vegetables.

This blade can also be used to cut meats and disjointing large cuts of ham or beef.
